I am in need of some good book recommendations. I've gone from having a laundry list of books to read (and actually not having read many of them) to not being able to think of any books that I want to read. My latest reads have been Deep Economy by Bill McKibben, Mastery by George Leonard, and right now I can't remember the one before that.
I'm pretty much up for anything. Mystery, novel, just fun reading, what have you. What are some good books that you've read lately that you'd recommend for me to read?

A Walk in the Woods is a good Bill Bryson book, all outdoorsey for you. :) It's very funny.
Have you read Freakonomics?
If you want a fun easy read that's also very good, try any recent Newbery award books. I liked Thief.

I am going to try I Am Legend and A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin one of these days. I also like goodreads. ~Amy
Several books:
How to Live Well Without Owning a Car by Chris Balish.
Cycling's Greatest Misadventures edited by Erich Schweikher
Stomping Grounds: A Pilgrim's Progress Through Eight American Subcultures by W. Hampton Sides (also Ghost Soldiers by the same author if you like a bit of WWII history).
Oh, and I totally agree with the recommendation for A Walk in the Woods. That is a great book!
Thanks everyone for the recommendations. I'm currently reading A Walk in the Woods, I just finished reading How to Live Well Without Owning a Car, and I've put the others on my list.
You know what's funny is ghostrider is a librarian, Amy's husband is a librarian, and Becca (who probably could be a librarian with all the books she reads) and Rachel both have a friend who is a librarian!
